There are moments when you realize a local project starts becoming regional. For me, Chișinău is no longer "beyond the Prut." It's part of the same entrepreneurial conversation.
ATIPIC grew in Iași as a space for real connection between entrepreneurs. Today we're discussing a natural expansion between Iași and Chișinău, built on concrete pillars and solid partnerships.
1. Applied Entrepreneurial Events and Dialogue
The ATIPIC Meet model has shown that entrepreneurs look for context, not just content. The format of recurring, carefully moderated meetings, with a focus on long-term relationships, can be replicated in an active regional entrepreneurial circuit.
Iași and Chișinău can become two nodes of the same network. We plan to return in September with a special format, hosted in one of Chișinău's creative hubs, following the partnership model with V7 Startup Studio
2. The ATIPIC and Romanian Creative Week Collaboration
A key point at this stage is the collaboration between creators and innovators from the cultural sector with direct implications for the entrepreneurial sector. One of these creators is Romanian Creative Week, a festival, a state of mind, essential for a European city like Iași. Following this model, RCW naturally continued into Bucharest as well.
As announced at the forum, RCW is in advanced discussions with Artcor for a fruitful collaboration in Chișinău. RCW also wants to develop this model in the Republic of Moldova. We're talking about a structure that blends entrepreneurial culture, the creative sector, and strategic framework. This synergy matters: ATIPIC brings community and validated entrepreneurial structure. RCW brings creative vision and regional openness.
This isn't a simple event collaboration. It's an ecosystem-building effort.
3. Crossworlder Music Ltd – international experience, UK and global perspective, alongside collaboration with young creator communities including The Event Agency
Another differentiating element is the international dimension. Through Crossworlder Music Ltd, built in the UK, I worked for years in international contexts, with clear standards of organization, branding, and global positioning. This experience brings to the Iași – Chișinău collaboration: – strategic rigor – mature market experience – an understanding of how competitive ecosystems function
Regional expansion isn't improvisation. It's a calculated step.
4. A Real Knowledge Exchange: Digitalization vs. EU Policies
It's important to say this openly too: in many areas, the Republic of Moldova is faster in administrative digitalization and practical implementation. We have things to learn.
At the same time, Romania has direct access to the European Union's mechanisms, funding, and policies. Through my involvement in European networks and in EU-level communication and connection, I can facilitate information transfer and access to know-how regarding: – EU policies relevant to SMEs – funding mechanisms – cross-border opportunities – institutional connections
We're not talking about superiority. We're talking about complementarity. Chișinău can accelerate through digitalization. Iași can contribute through European connection.
Together we can create a smart regional model.
5. Expansion on ATIPIC's Pillars
The Iași – Chișinău expansion will be built on the same pillars:
• recurring events with a clear structure • mentorship and applied sessions • institutional and international connections • entrepreneurial education and digital skills • developing a regional entrepreneurial club
We connect people and ideas for success. What's emerging isn't a branch office. It's a bridge. A real entrepreneurial bridge, with structure, vision, and solid partnerships.
I believe the coming years will be defined by authentic regional collaborations. And the Iași – Chișinău axis has all the ingredients to become an example.
